Training options
Options range from half day workshops through to comprehensive two,three and five day workshops. Each is supported with worksheets and tailored-to-suit manuals which include further reading and background material to support participants after the workshop.
Learning outcomes
Participants will gain the skills needed to:
- Identify and prioritise their region's clusters.
- Implement an interactive, collaborative strategy development process by involving key leaders from business, government, education and civic life.A 12 step process will be introduced.
- Mobilise business leaders in the implementation of action initiatives that directly address regional competitiveness challenges.
Participants will have the opportunity to work on clusters of direct relevance to their locality.
Who should attend?
Successful cluster development requires a 'whole-of-government' approach, and there is value in having a cross section of attendees at cluster training workshops.

- Economic development professionals working at the national/state/ provincial levels and the local/community level
- Technology transfer, investment attraction, education/skills development and export development agencies
